3 out of 5 people found this review helpful. My husband and I loved going here this summer with our baby girl. One of the nicest places to visit in Toronto. Absolutely beautiful rooms, furniture and gardens. You can go on Tuesday evenings for free to the gardens. They rent the place out for functions - an absoultely beautiful venue for a wedding.
I recommend this place.

6 out of 8 people found this review helpful. I found the guided tour bland and uninspired. The dull voice on the recorder was boring, the furniture had almost all been removed from the castle. Not much of a castle if you ask me. Any palace or castle in europe would trump this place without even blinking. Cost is $12 to get in. Expect to wait to get into some rooms as the line-ups can be daunting.
I do not recommend this place.

I recommend this place.

I hadn't been there since I was a kid, but the place is still big and airy and fun to tour. No shock and awe, but a nice way to spend a couple of hours.
I recommend this place.
