The DeLeon White Gallery (DWG)opened in Toronto, Canada, in a 6,000 sq.ft. renovated space, in 1995. Since then, it has been committed to exhibiting work by some of the world’s most accomplished and critically acclaimed contemporary artists. In particular, the artists exhibiting at the DWG work within environmental or ecological paradigms; issues revolving around nature, culture and society are addressed by the artists through medium, technique and content. Under the Directorship of Stephen White, the DeLeon White Gallery has evolved into central cultural and community oriented gallery. The DWG currently represents twenty-four Canadian (85%) and international artists (15%), including artists from the United States, Germany, Israel and Japan.
