A lot of the dogs are big and parents should take care that their children are not knocked down. The good thing is that there is a fully enclosed children's play area.
It is not really a dog-friendly park as the dogs can be injured by children riding bikes in the park during off leash hours, being hit by things thrown at them by kids, etc.
I noticed that both parents and dog owners bring alcohol to the park on a regular basis. Not sure whether this is legal or not but quite a lot of drinking goes on. As well dogs with kennel cough are not dissuaded from coming to the dark park with the result that several dogs are now sick. This causes dysentry and the pooh cannot be picked up properly. Don't know how safe this is health-wise for children walking around in bare feet. Also the dogs go into the wading pool.
People bring food into the park and throw it on the grass - don't pick it up and the dogs can pick up chicken bones and get hurt pretty badly.

I do not recommend this place.

Their is an off leash dog park during certain times of day. The park is fenced in with gates at each entrance.

There is a small enclosed playground for children.
and during the summer season there is a wading pool monitored by a lifeguard.

This park is well taken care of by a group of surrounding neighbours to ensure it is a safe place to bring their children and pets.

I cant say enough good things about this park. All the people I have encountered have been very friendly and there is a real care and concern that the people who visit this park enjoy their time there.

I recommend this place.
