Description

The Toronto Castle opened in 1993. Located in the former Arts, Crafts and Hobbies building of Exhibition Place, the 110,000 square foot facility is the largest Castle in the Medieval Times family. The Grand Ceremonial Arena offers seating for 1,400 guests. The Castle, located near the Dufferin Gates, is a permanent, year-round attraction. Unique features include a medieval-themed Convention Hall available for all types of corporate, school, team and other special events. The Knight Club, offering full bar service, comes to life each evening after the final performance giving guests the opportunity to meet the show cast, take pictures, get autographs and dance to selections from the medieval jukebox.

They encourage the marks to arrive an hour and a half before the show so they can sell you everything from fake swords to a tour of the torture chamber. Even to get your birthday mentioned costs you an extra $20!!

When you consider the fact that for the 5 of us (2 adults & 3 kids) it cost $354 CDN, you think they might throw the birthday greeting in gratis. Add to the above that the food was DISGUSTING, greasy chicken and a beef rib (yep, that's right rib, one rib)from which most of the family still has diarrhea (hello City of Toronto Health Department), it will be a cold day in Camelot before you can drag me back there.

It's too bad because on the plus side, the show is really good. It's just unfortunate that the 'feast' doesn't live up to the show.

2 out of 5 people found this review helpful. Totally AWESOME! I loved it! So does everyone else that I have talked to that went. It is DEFINATELY worth the money. I am going again, and I can't wait!! Everyone HAS TO GO at least ONCE in their lives! Your kind of dumb not to! If I had to rate it on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 15!
I recommend this place.
