My friend and I went here for free entrance and we did check every exhibits, and they have interesting collections, specially they are newly improved expansion last two years ago or so???Amazing museum in Canada. But we regret we came very late afternoon, not enough time,or pay attention to every detail and close-up reading every detail of it.Were told within 30 minutes they will be closing.
I recommend this place.

ROM is one of the world's largest museum restoration and expansion ever.I enjoyed looking at the Diamonds and Precious Stone Collections.Last year I witness the largest Pearl collections from the Philippines,costumes,arti-facts loaned to the museum.Check if they still offering free entrance fee every Friday afternoon???

It's enjoyable yet educational and no matter how many times you go, you always get to learn new things! If you want to have a day off work or school to have fun with your family or friends, this is the place to go!

However, it seems to be continually in CONSTRUCTION MODE and that really bothered me the last few times I went.

I recommend this place.

Huge sandbox-style containers hold replica dinosaur bones buried under sand for the kids to uncover on their own! The Egyptian exhibit is always a favorite as well as the knights in armour. I don't recommend bringing a stroller, though people do.

I go on Friday nights after 4:30, when it is free, and I have never actually paid to visit! It is usually crowded during this time but not so much so that you can't get a good look at whatever you wish to see.

Last time I was there they had a great collection of Asian art and artifacts. I also enjoyed their Greek art, Jewels and Gemstones and Natural history exhibits.

I recommend this place.

The museum is full of interesting things and the hustle and bustle adds to the already wonderful atmosphere. The ROM is a fantastic place for artists, designers, and writers to brainstorm and reflect.
I recommend this place.

The building itself is nice. The Bodyworlds exhibit was $12 for entry and parking was $8, but i felt it was worth it. Art inspires us all.

There are always activities, and while it's usually busy, there's something about a bustling museum that makes it that much more interesting. It's also a great place to do sketches and get ideas if you're a writer. The Bat Cave never ceases to amaze me.
I recommend this place.

The special exhibits are more expansive and attractive. A good place to spend an afternoon, especially if it's cold outside.
I recommend this place.

But you cannot see everything in one visit, you have to come several times!

The only big negative is that the ROM is extremely busy on school holidays. But on an off day--it is very relaxing and informative way to spend an afternoon.

I recommend this place.
