Description

Located in the heart of the Lower Beaches area, Murphy's Law meticulously harnesses all the traditions of Ireland and transforms the relics of an old bank into a genuine Irish establishment.

Murphy's Law takes pride in hosting special functions: birthdays, anniversaries, sporting events and sponsorship, or simply a large get-together of family and friends.

The sincerest of welcomes, an unsurpassed pint of Guinness, plus a varied selection of traditional Irish cuisine and pub fare will ensure that a "mighty" time will be had by all.

As a second-time customer, am I suppose to know? Servers do not have the right to speak to customers in this manner. Or, maybe, this is just “Murphy’s Law” and everyone working there is just living up to the name.
I do not recommend this place.

Their beer selection is excellent and their fish and chips above par. Their steak and mushroom pie is great as well. The main floor bar is like any other but the upstairs is where you want to be if you're looking for something a little more quiet. The basement is not great but I think this is a place they use as a last resort. There is also an outdoor patio and I think even one on the roof although I have never been there. This is a really great place to grab a pint and hang out with friends.
I recommend this place.
