As a second-time customer, am I suppose to know? Servers do not have the right to speak to customers in this manner. Or, maybe, this is just “Murphy’s Law” and everyone working there is just living up to the name.
I do not recommend this place.

Their beer selection is excellent and their fish and chips above par. Their steak and mushroom pie is great as well. The main floor bar is like any other but the upstairs is where you want to be if you're looking for something a little more quiet. The basement is not great but I think this is a place they use as a last resort. There is also an outdoor patio and I think even one on the roof although I have never been there. This is a really great place to grab a pint and hang out with friends.
I recommend this place.

After seeing a movie at the beaches I wish I could say if it was any good or not we get there on Saturday night and the main floor is full so a staff member seats us downstairs but after we sit there for a while another staff member shows up and says its closed like we tried to sneak down there and get one over. After my wife is already out the door then we hear that there's an upstairs that we could've gone to , It would have been better if they had said they were full in the first place and we could've gone to the neighbouring donut shop which would've been better that getting kicked out of a pub before getting any drinks. They do have an excellent bear menu which I would've liked to have tried.
I do not recommend this place.
