I too was cussed out by the back door man. He lied to the staff and told them I was enebriated. Which resulted in being asked to leave. He is GONE now TG.
When I see Greg at the piano, I leave, he can't keep tempo, and his voice is gone. (time to retire). Kendall on the otherhand, is talented, friendly, polite and a joy to be around. He's just a little too loud. Kendall: "Sing along!
' Turn your voice down pls.
U would deffenately recommend this place.
As for being frisked! It helps me feel safe knowing there are no weapons/drugs there.

I recommend this place.

There is a new policy of frisking customers at the door. Treating customers, especially regulars as criminals, is not the best way to develop loyalty.

I love this place, they are extremely supportive of all aspects of gay culture.Drag shows with Toronto's top female impersonators,retro sundays,and they host fundraisers for the not for profit AIDS foundations. The owner and staff are professional and polite.It is always a joy to stop in and feel like one of the family. Zippers gets five stars.

I recommend this place.
