Dingy dives are the new cool, and this place is no Ritz. Once upon a time, it used to be a Portuguese banquet hall and restaurant. Now, the 50-year-old business is catering to a much younger crowd, serving cheap beer in a slightly historic, well-worn setting. There are no pretensions about the place, just promises of a few good stories and some great bands. It's only open for live band nights, so check concert listings first.
