The Betty Oliphant Theatre seats 297 people, with fold-up sating on the main level and fixed seating in the balcony. The stage is large -- 14 metres by 14 metres -- and has a 13.5 - metre stage tower and a fly gallery. There is an orchestra pit that can accomodate two concert grand pianos. Lighting and sound equipment are top quality. The venue hosts dance classes and rehearsals during the week, and is also a performance space for its operator, the National Ballet School, and for other proffessional productions.

	1 out of 2 people found this review helpful. I had the greatest opportunity to perform on this stage. The staff at this theatre was wonderful. The stage is quite spacious. and the seating is very intimate. On my offdays, I watched another cast perform and I sat in several different seats. Every seat had a great view of the stage and the sound and lighting was excellent. I hightly recommend anyone that is putting on a production to rent this theatre! I recommend this place.
