Every great metropolis is anchored by a building that reflects and responds to the cityˇ¦s changing character. The Hummingbird Centre for the Performing Arts, inaugurated in 1960 and situated in the beating heart of downtown Toronto, is just such a building. Although the clean, efficient architectural modernism of its exterior speaks of the values and aesthetic of a past era, the life within has always kept pace with the times. The Hummingbird Centre remains a vital part of the cityˇ¦s ever-expanding, richly diverse human fabric and a major attraction for visitors from beyond. The seats were comfortabled, and not too squished so you can stretch your leg forward, lean back, and just enjoy any show that is showing there. I recommend this place. Was this review helpful?
