The hotel itself (the building) is nice but everything else is woeful for the price paid. The only reason for paying to stay at these hotels is so you can say 'I stayed at a hotel that cost me $500 a night, aren't I rich'

If I want to go for a high end hotel again I'd go for a Westin, Shangri La, Hyatt or any other than Fairmont so I can enjoy a proper luxury hotel.

I do not recommend this place.

The rooms are elegant, large and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. The location is perfect for a romantic getaway, downtown near the CN Tower, Rogers Centre and overlooking the lake.

Be sure to try their Fairmont Gold Program - in which you occupy a large room on their 8th floor and are treated to snacks at night, a serve-yourself bar and a morning breakfast buffet.

I recommend this place.

Still considered one of Toronto's top hotels.

I recommend this place.

I've been there twice. The first time the room was amazing. Big big comfortable bed, two TVs, and everything was nice and clean. Good memory :)

The second time I somehow got into Fairmont Gold. High class living at a very low price. Served hors'doeuvre, and had an amazing snack bar just for Gold stayers. On top of this, a deluxe continental breakfast that was just delicious. The room itself was also wonderful, with a great view of Lake Ontario.

Amazing hotel - highly recommended.

I recommend this place.
