I travelled to Toronto for the first time from Amsterdam, and upon my search on the internet found this treasure called "The Amsterdam Guest House". It has a fantastic location, right in downtown Toronto, a short streetcar or cab ride to all major attractions. Most of all I found the staff very nice. Doreen and Adrian, the owners helped me with all inquiries I had: where to shop, eat, see attractions. The prices could not be more reasonable $55-65/night. I stayed for 2 months, so they were able to give me a monthly rate which was a great value for my money. Bathrooms are not in rooms but their are 8 bathrooms for 16 guest rooms. I loved it! Definately reccommended for those whose are on a budget but want a bright, clean place to stay that is centrally located!
