	1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. I am staying currently at the College Hostel and have found it to be wonderful! I have stayed here once before and never had any sort of the trouble isabel describes. They are currently, it seems, in the process of renovating, painting, refurbishing, etc. There is free local calling from all rooms, Big screen TV in the comon room and TV in private rooms, all cable. I highly recommend this Hostel. I recommend this place.

	2 out of 3 people found this review helpful. I don't know what is up with the previous reviewer but I found this place perfectly okay for a budget price. It was clean when I was there this year and although the rooms are basic if you are out all day all you require is a clean room which it was. The bathrooms and the kitchens were all very clean so I don't really believe this first reviewer to be totally honest in their comments, maybe they had an argument with a staff member. I recommend this place.

	1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. I stayed there for an unbearable 9 nights (only becaause all other hostel/hotels were booked solid due to Toronto Film Festival)! Dirty, smelly rooms - the room I was given initially actually stunk and I requested a clean room immediately (which was only slightly less smelly). Squalid in size and dusty. Old, falling-apart furnishings; mattress sank in, pillow cracked-yes cracked! Shared bath/toilet facilities abominable! Filthy Cleanliness-virtually nil. Staff stroppy and defensive, especially a weekend staffperson called Peter. Moved as soon as I secured accommodation at New Horizon for $1 more, which included breakfast, beautifully clean, airy room with toilet/sink (new!), shared shower room and a separate bathtub room (clean and big!!), really nice and clean kitchen lounge room where there is abundant refreshments--free!! Stay AWAY from Residence College Hostel!!!!! I highly recommend New Horizons Hostel/Hotel with free huge buffet breakfast! I do not recommend this place.
