5 out of 7 people found this review helpful. Just moved to Toronto for graduate school and wanted to get a new pair of glasses for the coming year. I spend a lot of time on the computer and my eyes get tired after a long day, so I wanted to find an eye doctor who would check my vision and give me advice on how to lessen my eyestrain. I was in the mall and decided to give this office a try. Worse eye exam of my life. To make a long story short, the exam took about 20 minutes, but I only had about three minutes with Dr. Chung. His assistants did most of the work. Everyone seemed very rushed.

At the end of the exam Dr. Chung said that my prescription had increased and gave me a new prescription. I asked him about glasses and how I could less my eyestrain. He told me that I could get glasses next door or at his other office located a couple of miles away, but highly recommended a new type of contacts that I could sleep in. He did not mention anything about my eyestrain.

Overall, I was not satisfied with my eye exam as the doctor did not address my concerns and seemed pretty robotic and more like a salesman than a doctor. I decided to have another eye exam and the doctor told me that my old prescription was too strong and that a muscle in my eye had to work harder than normal. She said that this may have been a contributing factor to my eyestrain. I was given a lower prescription and now my eyes feel less strained with my new glasses.

If you value your vision and human interaction I would not goto Dr. Chung's office.

Service is poor
Quality is poor
Accuracy is poor
Location is excellent
Cost is average
Overall: I would not goto this office again; I wished I had never gone to this office

I do not recommend this place.

3 out of 5 people found this review helpful. The last reviewer must have had a bad day... I've been seeing Dr. Chung for over 10 years and have always had good service and professionalism from him and his staff. My husband sees one of the other Optometrists and we will never have our eyes examined elsewhere.
I recommend this place.
