The most horrifying hairdressing experience I have ever had. I have gone to darken my blonde hair slightly to a ashier shade to match my natural colour in order to grow it out. At first my hair got dyed a red colour. after realizing her mistaked, my civello 'professional' dyed it again a chestnut brown... then highlighted my whole head to cover up for the now TWO mistakes-after which she dyed it again to lessen the contrast between the blonde highlights and chestnut brown base. The hair that took about a year and a half to grown my desired length now had to be cut off because its too damaged after four dye jobs in one day. It is still the wrong colour. I was forced to pay for all of the work done on my hair and haven't received as much as a single call back from the managed to remedy the damage done. Never have I ever been so disappointed in a hair salon and a "hairstylist". I arrived for my appointment and was told to go upstairs to change. Once I made it back downstairs, I waited for over 15 minutes while my "stylist" took her time and shamelessly flirted a client. Finally, she brought me over and I showed her a picture and thoroughly discussed what I wanted and what I didn't want in a hairstyle. An hour and 15 minutes later, I ended up with a haircut that will take at least six months to grow out. I figured there was no point in complaining since the damage was done. I refuse to refer this talentless, overpriced, sorry excuse for a stylist. If anything, I will tell everybody to stay away from Semina at the Rosedale location.

The service was pretty good when I went to this salon. The staff was nice and my spa treatment was quite good. For hair appointments though, I only book an appointment here if I can't get one at Inside Out Salon.

I recently got a cut and style at Civello by one of their advanced stylists. I had a great experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, I loved their quick head and shoulder massage before they cut my hair and the stylist (I believe his name was Josef) was excellent. He listened to what I wanted and the cut turned out perfect, I've received many compliments. It was quite expensive ($85 for the cut plus he talked me into $60 more for Aveda shampoo and conditioner) but it was well worth it - especially if you do not get your hair cut often. I have been going to Civello Salon & Spa for over 10 years for haircuts, colour, massages, manicures and pedicures. The staff is wonderful and meet all your needs. I always love the way my hair turns out. The RMT's are excellent. All my tension and stress is gone after a session. It is definetly worth going to. Or even buying a certificate for a loved one to try out.
