I started going to Dufferin-Dupont Alignment out of convenience, but even though I've moved and am no longer as close as I was, I still use Dufferin-Dupont exclusively for all my vehicles' undercar service needs. They are highly capable and scrupulously honest; I've brought in vehicles with what seemed like major repairs needed, only to be back on the road quickly and inexpensively because what had sounded or seemed like a major problem was in fact something simple like a lack of grease or a missing spring retainer. Just as with all human beings, they're not perfect, and once in awhile mistakes happen. The key is how they're handled, and Frank (the owner) is a real stand-up guy. When one of his technicians made a mistake that resulted in some tire damage, he took immediate responsibility for it and made it right for me. Oh, one other note: I was initially upset that they don't provide printouts of the alignment settings before and after the work is done, but I did some research and Frank's absolutely right: Having a printout does not necessarily mean your car is properly aligned. I quickly stopped feeling the need to check his shop's work by means of a printout-equipped garage; he does the job correctly the first time, and that's why I will carry on going back.
