I have compared their rates against various Brokers and my bank several times along the way - Globex has ALWAYS quoted the best rate. On my 1st comparison - Globex came in 2 cents better than my bank rate - this is turn saved me over $800. Over the past 2 years I estimate Globex has saved me well over $20,000. I encourage others to at least call Globex to compare with the rate they currently receive. I GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? 	10 out of 13 people found this review helpful. I started using Globex about a year ago for my company's FX. At the time we were using another broker. When we compared we realized we were getting charged about 1.5% on the rates. Obviously we switched our business over to Globex. About 4 months after we switched we called our old broker after we did a deal and asked them what their rate would of been. They quoted us 1% lower than Globex did which was a difference of about $700. I called our contact at Globex back to see what was going on. I was shocked when he said they were quoting me a false rate to make Globex look bad and to prove it I should call the other broker and tell them I wanted to buy a million dollars at the rate they quoted. Then Globex would buy it back from me at a cent higher than what I bought it for . This would make me about $10,000 if my old broker honored the rate. I followed through by calling my old broker. They would not give me the rate they had quoted and to make matters worse, changed it to a quarter of a percent higher than the rate I got from Globex . It was obvious my contact at Globex was right about my previous broker. They were trying to get my business back by making it appear I was getting worse rates from Globex in a fraudulent way. I have to say I almost fell for it. Since then Globex has continued to give us excellent service and has consistently offered the best rate we've found. We won't be dealing with anyone else. Globex just saved me $2000 compared to my useless bank and my so called broker(I use the term loosely) or should I say x-broker.
