Modern Optical is the best. They give to charity. They make minor repairs. They sell such beautiful glasses, I don't want to give them up. They are close to the subway. And the people are really nice. Plus they know about Oprah. Where else can you get all that?

An excellent experience - I would highly recommend this shop to everyone. Superior selection and service. The prices are mid to high range - but worth every penny!

Yes, it is a bit pricier than the big box stores, but you get excellent service, knowledgeable opticians,and a terrific selection of beautiful frames - true fashion accessories! Cathy and staff will genuinely help you choose a frame that suits you well - both aesthetically and in terms of maximum vision enhancement, especially for "problem" prescriptions. Highly recommended - I wouldn't go anywhere else.
