In respond to all this nonsense, l the owner of Poison Ivy have taken the time to respond to all this BULL, not because l have to justify anything as a successful business women, who has been in business for 11 years, l think that speaks for itself, and all of us at Poison Ivy are gratefull and appreciative of our loyal supportive clients, that have made this possible. Am responding because l am deeply disturbed of how some women (girls) in this day and age seem to still feel the need to bash and slander another women, because she is strong and confident, and successful. Ladies this is not high school as much as l am flattered, that l have such a strong effect on you as a women l also find it disturbing. Any paying customer who is not happy with any services generally picks up the phone and identifies themself, name (real name and phone#)its called CUSTOMER SERVICES!! Don t be a coward don t be so angry, because you are so resentfull of other women, its embarrassing and degrading, to other women!! Indenify yourself, call me l would love to here from you and so would my lawyer. I have a idea who you are,in business its called your competition, and the other crap by someone who use to work at Poison Ivy, darling, get a life move on! Its such a shame that you don t take all this negativity and channel it into something more positive, and productive. Thank you for taking the time for reading this and oh yes occasionally l do say fuck, if l had a penis would you make such an issue about it?? I was reading all the reviews regarding this hair salon - I noticed the rudeness in one of the reviews from obviously someone from the salon - Maybe the Salon Owner which few of the people spoke about. Just seeing they were right about this I would never recommend any of my friends to go to this salon nor will I be going either - also would recommend 2 really great salons for the girls who had very poor experiences there. Capucci which is just on Bloor St. main intersection is between Jane and Runnemede on Bloor - or there is another really good one that is called Evoke on Eglinton and Yonge- great reviews tons of award winning stylists and color specialists. Trust me they treat you with the utmost respect and no profanity that is so trashy and not classy at all- guess you get what you pay for. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? I too spent $$$ having to fix my hair, and it wasn't the most pleasant or interesting experience being there. My advice: don't risk your hair or money, try somewhere else.. P.S. As per the receptionist none of your business what the relationship is, so how is this for being rude GO GET FUCKED JEALOUS BITCH!!! Say it to my face!!!! 	4 out of 5 people found this review helpful. I have to agree with the first comment. It seems to be the same CD's on everytime I come in. But that's not the main problem in this salon. The owned Suszette I have also noticed is very foul mouth, rude, overbearing and obnoxious (to name a few). Many times I have come in there to witness her yelling profanities into the phone and slamming things around (in front of other clients also clients with children) while the other Hair dressers stand there trying to ignore her temper tantrums. Also... if you have the pleasure of having the receptionist/asst. (whom I hear is her daughter) wash your colour out for you... don't be surprised when you go home and have to re-wash your hair after spending well over $160 on services. She is also rude and from the looks of it, lazy. I know this all sounds pretty harsh but... it's the sad truth. I only return for the amazing highlights Deby gives me and for the amazing hair cuts Calindy seems to grace me with. She is WONDERFUL at new and modern cuts! I'am never disappointed. So... unless you don't mind a crazy and rude Boss/Owner Susette Antunes and don't mind being treated poorly and having to witness her temper and bad language and poor treatments of clients... go at your own risk. 	7 out of 8 people found this review helpful. I am a regular client of Debbie who is a great hair stylist. However, the Poison Ivy experience is terrible. The dated disco gay dance club music is really irritating and the ever present owner can be rude and abrasive. The place is also a bit rundown, but I can overlook it. I have also had Sabrina do my colour and she did a great job and was really pleasant and interesting. I hate going to Poison Ivy, but I love Debbie. I do not recommend this place. After going to my regular hair salon, where the new colour tech dyed my blondish- brown hair green, I had dyed my hair 3 more times to try to get it back to a natural colour. My hair was so dry that it broke if I touched it. I went to Poison Ivy because I live in the neighbourhood and Sabrina totally fixed my hair. My hair is now a natural dark brown. Sabrina is very laid back and understands style. Do not underestimate this hidden gem. The girl who originally ruined my hair was from Civello. Sabrina did a much better job for a fraction of the price. Definitely check Poison Ivy out, especially if you are looking for colour correction. I recommend this place. Was this review helpful?
