About The House
"Ronald McDonald House was where I became rejuvenated... where I shed the cares of one day and prepared for the next."

There are 28 comfortably furnished family bedrooms within the House,each with its own private bathroom.Families have access to a warm and inviting kitchen and dining area, common family room, playroom and free laundry facilities. Although the cost of accommodating a family for a single night is more than $140, families are asked to contribute just $15.


Our goal is to provide an atmosphere for families and their children where the familiar routines of home life can continue as much as possible. The House offers an atmosphere of compassion and understanding in a stressful and often frightening time.

Our volunteers organize a wide variety of activities for the families such as play groups,arts and crafts,theme parties, computer time and barbecues.

determine a family member’s needs and eligibility to stay at Toronto’s Ronald McDonald House;

provide follow-up support as required;
keep them informed about programs, services, special events and opportunities to volunteer or to give;
allow effective administration of Toronto’s Ronald McDonald House and its policies.

Financial donors, event participants and sponsors:
The purpose for collecting personal information about financial donors, event participants and sponsors is to:

thank them for their financial support;
maintain tax records as required by law;
send out charitable donation receipts;
establish and maintain harmonious donor relationships;
keep them informed about programs, services, special events and opportunities to volunteer or to give;
respond to a request made by a lawful authority or for other purposes required by law.

We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists.

We never disclose your personal information, unless required by law, without your knowledge and consent.
