I love this place. I'm Austrian born, live in Canada, but was raised on German cooking. This place is the best. The atmosphere is very friendly and the service is excellent. I have been going there after the Opera and am always greeted with old-world charm and grace. I plan on going there often.

Very authentic atmosphere, very friendly service and great food. Have only tried the more casual bar side, but understand from others that the dinning room is great too.

I would highly recommend visiting the high-end Austrian restaurant. It was a beautiful experience - lovely authentic food, that pleased both my German father-in-law and 6 year-old niece. The fantastic service and special touches made the meal even more enjoyable.

Awesome! Totally Awesome! My mother is German so I am quite picky about authentic German cooking and atmosphere....it was so Bavarian that it brought a tear to my eye! The atmosphere is so like an authentic Stube (I didn't do the fine dining)...and the service was wonderful....even when I went to pick up the car and my parents waited in the restaurant...the manager offered them a complimentary liquor and pampered them til I arrived..they have never been so happy with a restaurant in Canada and whenever I'm in Toronto...I make it a point to go there! Food was good but heavy (hey it is German). Prices were on the high side of reasonable ($75 for two people and one beer (bier) and desert for lunch). Service was slow, but friendly, by buxom waitresses in peasant blouses a la Swiss Chalet of a generation ago.
