I've been here twice. The second time I ordered a pizza with prosciutto and tomatoes and it was delicious. Service was fast. Atmosphere is nice and feels a but European. The place is also lively and charming. I've heard many complaints about the waitstaff as well, but the guy taking care of our orders was nice and friendly (perhaps the weekend staff?). I was however a bit mystified when they brought my espresso while I was eating (I was having beer and had ordered an espresso to have after my meal). I've been here three times. The first was a good experience, and the second so-so. The third one was horrible - the waiter was downright rude (imagine that, asking him for something), and not only brought our food order wrong but had the gall to accuse us of stating it wrongly. This was of course absurd as there was no way the vegetarian would have ordered meat!

I have been here several times because my first visit was an excellent experience. I had a great shrimp salad and we sat outside on their upstairs heated patio with a great waiter and wonderful ambience. Although I will always have found memories of this my subsequent visits ensured I will not return to Cafe Nervosa. Their waitstaff was rude and even claimed that prosuitto did not contain pig! It was pleasant dining al fresco. I had an extremely good thin crust pizza and the espresso tasted truly Italian. Waitstaff were a tad harried but very friendly. I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |
