C'est What Brew/Vin Pub Restaurant Toronto’s true local flavour in craft beer and comfort food since 1988.
A great value "ethno-clectic" menu, 35 craft brewed beers on tap, fine whiskies from the world over, and a select all Ontario VQA wine list are all part of the casual, relaxed experience here.
Located in the cellar of a historic century old building in the St. Lawrence Market area, C’est What has an Old Town charm that appeals to Bohemians and Bay St. bankers alike. It offers diversions such as board games, pool tables, and a TV room.
A separate smoking room ensures that all guests can enjoy themselves in comfort.

We went to C'est What for a birthday party, and found the food, other then the burgers, to be sub par. The Calamari was okay, but very salty. I personally ordered the Chicken Satay. The chicken was badly burnt, and the salad had brown lettuce, it was inedible. The Chicken Tikka Masala was tasteless, and the Angus Steak was "there". The Steak Fajita Wrap was okay, but the vegetables in it were tasteless. Apparently the only things anyone really enjoyed were the lamb burgers and the Antojitos were 'not bad'. At one point it took half an hour to order a beer. I guess with a tip included in the bill, good service isn't a concern. They did bring some brownies for the birthday person on the house, but they apparently weren't very good either. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for anything but beer. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |

C'est What is a great pub/restaurant on Front Street. The atmosphere is relaxing with low-lighting and rich, warm colours. There are pool tables available and the restuarant is divided up nicely to give different feels inside the same restaurant. There is the bar area, the restaurant area, and the pool table area. The food is quite solid. Try the Buffalo Burgers! The service is good if unspectacular. I keep getting the same waitress and while she does her job well there is NO small talk. But that has become part of the charm. Give this restaurant a shot if you are looking for something slightly different. Great for before or after a baseball/hockey/basketball game. I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |
