HORRIBLE service, yummy food. The prawns were overcooked, and i'm not sure how deep-fried anything can be screwed up. But by FAR, the best chips, and sauces (try the garlic mayo for your chips!) I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |

Burnt fish, burnt chips, no A/C is summer so it is stuffy as hell, first impression: dirty and unclean facilities. No washroom. bad aftertaste from food, and indigestion from overcooked batter. fish not fresh, tasted old.

Besides places in England and one wonderful restaurant in my home town that got torn down, nowhere makes better fish and chips! The prices are average for this type of thing--my only objection being that tartar sauce, garlic mayo and things like that cost extra. The staff is friendly, forward and funny--at least in my experience. Another thing that marks Chippy's for me is the fact that it sells Coke in glass bottles.
