First of all let me start off by saying that this place had a foul odor, when i asked the waiter what it was,he said that the toilets were backed up. Which presented two problems, one even furthest away from the bathrooms there was still a hint of the odor in the air, and two,if i needed to use the restroom it would be unavailable to me whilst i was there. Even though i didnt want stay,my sister had already made the reservations and she wanted to stay. Then there was our waiter, Mark, he is Egyptian and barely spoke english. His knowledge was limited and combined with his heavy accent he might as well have been telling me they had smoked kitten for lunch, i couldnt understand a thing. Even though it was a slow night, it left little to be desired, as our appetizers came out later than our entrees, which was about forty five minutes after we ordered. we were willing to over look the timing of the dish, but the burnt calamari tasted more like rubber bands than food. When we had the manager sent over, i had a hard time focusing on his words, due to the strong presence of scotch and cigarette. His small frame was made to look smaller under his wrinkled suit. We were surprised however when the manager not only didnt help aid us in rectifying the situation, but actually blamed the burnt calamari on us. Which still doesnt make much sense. Finally when i felt the event would finally come to and end, as we were exiting the building, the manager made one last attempt to make us feel better, but actually further insulted us, by asking for my phone number and offering me to a night of drinks after hours with his company.
