Atmosphere - Solid atmosphere with lots of room to spare, although if you sit in the wrong seat (ie. by the window) one of the lights may shine directly into your eye making for some uncomfortable squinting. Food - The food is quite good and offers some nice variation on the standard pub fair. Service - Everytime you enter the Fox and the Fiddle you will be asked to show ID. This isn't a problem. What IS a problem is if you or one of the people you are with does not have proper ID. Even if the place is empty you will have to do a lot of arm twisting to let the bouncer let you inside. This has happened a couple of times and is extremely frusturating and un-welcoming. All we wanted to do was eat! The table service is fine, if unspectacular. Overall - I really tried to like this place and have given it a number of chances but each time I come away disappointed. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful?
