Good food and variety just too busy sometimes. If you go try and get a booth otherwise you are sitting on someone's lap.

it can get very loud and busy here. the portions are large, a little bit pricy, but very healthy and delicious. the service can be a little slow when they are busy but the quality of the food makes this place a worthwhile choice for healthy eaters and vegetarians.

I haven't eaten red meat in years and poultry was the only meat that I allowed myself to eat. However, I made the decision to cut out all meats from my diet and thus become a full-fledged vegetarian. One of the most difficult transitions, I found that FRESH by Juice for Life offered what I thought I would never find - gourmet vegetarian food. Most people, including myself, always assume that going vegetarian would mean indulging in boring basics such as salads and tofu. However, FRESH offered such unique and flavourful food that it suprises you that it's HEALTHY and MEAT-FREE. My favourite dish right now is the Power House Bowl. It has everything you're looking for in a well-balanced meal. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to bring their non-vegetarian friends out for dinner (Why do vegetarians always have to go to pro-meat restaurants!). They will not be disappointed! I love this place. It is a bit pricey (therefore not quite a perfect rating) but I suspect you get what you pay for. The food is delicious and you feel great after eating there. The raspberry lemonade always refreshes me on a hot summer day. I definitely recommend Fresh.

I love fresh, it is fun, busy and healty. Well the Urban Cowboy is gone and so is the Mega Ceaser, my 2 favourite dishes. They turned the cowboy into a wrap which just is not the same!! very disappointed in that. I al still searching for a new favourite dish. Their new location is a bit more modern than the old and I don't love the location as much (its farther away from me now) but its definitely worth going. I recommend this place. While I love my meat, Fresh on Bloor offers delicious and nutritious organic vegetarian options. They have a superb selection of smoothies and power drinks, made with fresh ingredients sure to power you up. I especially enjoyed their plain soba dish - a simple buckwheat noodle entree drizzled with tahini and topped with slivered carrots. An excellent place for something new and light.

As a vegetarian, Juice for Life is one of my favorite dining destinations. My first meal there was a delicious Beach rice bowl (with brown basmati rice, egglplant, avocado, and much much more). It had me hooked, and now I often go for great (and unique ) salad and rice bowl combinations. Not to mention excellent fresh squeezed juices, veggie burgers and the best sweet potato fries. Also, this place was made famous for being Kate Hudson's choice for dining out with Matthew McConaughey in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days! I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Rice bowls, wraps, burgers and various appetizers and soups and drinks. A complete vegetarian menu of reasonably priced items. Large servings and every dish so far has been delicious. The servers are friendly and patient. An excellent place - go now!

My brother & I went to Fresh on Bloor this afternoon for lunch and we found the place to be a refreshing change from everyday cuisine. Their goal is to serve nutritious food and to make it quick! The first thing that struck me when I opened the menu was the abundance of variety. The choices are plentiful and sometimes you feel like ordering one of each dish. Once you're done ordering the food, you glance at the drinks menu and that's another decision demon. There are immune elixirs, energy elixirs, smoothies, frappes, protein shakes and the list goes on and on. We ordered the 'buddha on basmati rice' and a 'black bean burrito'. The 'buddha' dish was a mixture of spicy thai peanut sauce served with marinated tofu, tomato, cucumber, bean sprouts, cilantro, herbs and spices over rice. The burrito had a spicy bean filling with cilantro, avocado, tofu sour cream, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, red onion and alfalfa sprouts in a whole wheat tortilla. For $8, this burrito was monster-sized! The 'buddha' was about $9 and it also came in a lunch sized portion for $6. The portions are generous and you can taste the freshness of the food. I also indulged in a mango ginger lassi - yummy, but a bit pricey at $6 for a 16 oz. glass. Service was very prompt and the ambience was nice. I assume they do get crowded during lunch time and dinner but do take a look at their website and check out the place. They have three locations. It's definitely worth a visit! It's been 5 hours since I lunched there and I'm still stuffed!!

Sort of the bigger sister of Fresh/Juice for Life on Queen, this place is always packed, and rightfully so. I've had their pizza (when they had it ... not sure if they do), their fries, brugers, rice bowls, rolls, etc etc. And every single item has been excellent. Their appetizers are also very good (mmm delicious cornbread) and their smoothies/shakes are also excellent. Oh, this place is vegetarian, but you won't even notice :) I recommend this place.
