Huge portions and highest quality: half is enough unless you're really hungry. Best roti I've had in three decades of living in Toronto. As others have pointed out, medium is already quite spicy unless you're a real chilli freak. Best to order 20 minutes ahead, then pick up and take 'em home to eat with a salad or some other vegetable dish. My daughter loves the saag paneer; my ex loves the lamb; my inveterate choice is either chicken-and-channa or just plain channa-and-potato. Always cooked fresh from scratch, not like most of the other roti places that have some kind of mix sitting in the fridge that they then spoon into the roti. Anything with meat is usually about $10, but definitely worth it, especially since, for many, one Gandhi roti will make two meals. Matter of fact, I'm just about to pick up the phone and order....

Gandhi's Cuisine is simply a true reflection of the incredible aura that is Queen West. If you haven't been there and you love ethnic food STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP whatever it is that you are doing and go. Be prepared to get off your wallet as it is expensive, but, isn't almost everything great expensive. Don't worry it will be worth it, I promise. Also note that you will likely have to take the food out and eat as the restaurant is very small, A suggestion is to order 2 or 3 roti's with friends and cut them up and try each of them. They are all so wonderful. Enjoy, I'm going to get my Friday lunch now- take care friends.
