Bar none the best steak place in Toronto. Everybody here seems to complain about the prices of the steak. If you have ever been to a good steak place in Toronto or anywhere for that matter you would know $50-60 for a steak is a normal price. Yes the wine is ridiculously overpriced, but the food is great. Have been there numerous times and have never had a bad experience.

delicious steaks. but their sides, especially their french fries, could be improved. the french fries were probably the worst french fries i have ever eaten at any restaurant. considering that this is supposed to be one of the top steak houses in toronto, that is not acceptable in my opinion, especially when you are paying top dollar for quality. yes, things on this menu are not cheap and thus be very careful what you order (ie stay away from the french fries). i also had mushroom ragout on the side which was decent and crab cakes to start which were fabulous. overall it was a very satisfying meal and the service was excellent (complimentary valet parking is nice) but the price is heavy. when you go to places like this, you pay top dollar but you are expecting quality. i was disappointed on the quality of the sides and thus give this place a lower rating then it probably could get. the steaks, however, are top notch.

AMBIANCE: While the restaurant ambiance was nice (we were in the dining room), the service and grossly overpriced menu were so discouraging, we would not recommend it to others, nor will we be patronizing the restaurant again. SERVICE: Although the evening started with good service (note "good," not great), it quickly declined. The server made several significant errors in his wine recommendations, and the $100 bottle (screw cap) of wine he presented us retails for less than $15 CAN (!). FOOD & PRICES: Food was good, but certainly did not warrant the outrageous prices. Steaks at $50 CAN should come with some kind of side, and last time we checked, a baked potatoe doesn't retail for $12 CAN. Dinner for 4 came to $575 (pre-gratuity), and this was with modest orders (ie not everyone had appetizers, no one had dessert). Server was informal (ie too personal), and did not know the menu/wine list well. We have travelled the world and the seven seas, and expected so much more. Sadly we would not recommend it to others, nor will we be revisiting the place. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |

Harbour Sixty is the BEST steakhouse in town. The staff is wonderful. The atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing, although the view isn't the greatest. But the STEAK is out of this world. On top of that the side dishes (vegetables) were much better than most fancy steak houses. I had the filet mignon with asparagus on the side. Can't top it. Note that this restaurant is in the $80-100 per person price range.
