This upscale Italian eatery is a new addition to the Yorkville area. Chef Christopher Palik and owner Franco Agostino offer a traditional Italian menu of pizza, pasta, risotto and other main dishes like salmon and veal.

	2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. I went to this restaurant, with a friend, for the first time on Thursday evening, Feb 7th/08. The food was good and the service was excellent but I was not impressed by the owner. There were 2 people sitting at another table who were getting up so that they could smoke outside... the owner, Franco, told them not to go outside and allowed them to smoke in the restaurant. When other patrons saw this an additional 5-6 people lit up their cigarettes and started smoking. My friend and I could not believe it. Here we came for a smoke free evening and this jerk allowed all these people to smoke. As a non-smoker I found this totally disrespectful along with being against the law. The place filled with smoke (it's not very big) and it totally spoiled our evening. Even the servers were coughing because of the smoke. I strongly recommend that if you don't smoke do not go to this restaurant. There are other restaurants that are just as good and are smoke free. Too bad the owner ruined it for all the non-smokers. Although this place is a little bit pricey (main dishes range from $18-26), it is very reasonable for the exquisite food, great service and perfect ambiance. I had the salmon with fava beans and olive oil, $20, and it was wonderful. I would also highly recommend the octopus appetizer- I never tried it before and I was pleasantly surprised.
