The food is really good,this is the only one mansion in downtown_Jarvis Street that is converted to a Restaurant,it is beautiful and the history behind the mansion is quite interesting for me.Of course the staff are nice & good looking. 	6 out of 6 people found this review helpful. I live 4 hours north of Toronto but whenever I get down to the city I allways try to at least have 1 nite out at the Keg Mansion. Allways a busy place but the wait is worth it. Cosistancy of food quality and service is something to be appriciated. When entertaing one would like to feel that you know the food and service will be enjoyed by your guiets and I have not been let down yet. Just for a drink and light snacks the upstairs bar area(also ur wait area for your table) is so comfortable. I have to stop here or I will just ramble on and on. Least be said its a great relaxed enviroment for a full nites meal or just light late meal. Menu items are good(not just all steaks) and choices should suit most all tastes. I recommend this place. The food is great and the mansion is beautiful and the history behind the mansion is very interesting. One thing to keep in mind when the waiter/waitress's tell you to feel free and take a tour after your meal don't get to excited you can only go up one floor which is the bathrooms and the bar area, I was very disappointed about that, especially after reading the brochure! Try and picture what it would be like to live there. There are many rooms to diner in as well. I love the atmosphere with a crackling fire place close by and the food mmmm. You will be impressed.
