Lee Garden used to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants 14 yrs ago until I had their fresh scallops in the shell and got appendicitis over the next few days. Coincidence? maybe.

Excellent food, with prices at the higher end for Chinatown. Try the sirloin and avocado with black pepper -- unusual and delicious! The house soup is a nice way to start your meal.

Great place to eat. Over the years the food seems to have gotten better as well as the service while the prices remain competitive. The portions are large as you would come to expect from any restaurant in Chinatown. The lineups can get long as this is one of the most popular Chinese food restaurants on Spadina.

When my folks told me about Lee Garden's i was skeptical. Now I'm hooked. if you want authentic Chinese, this is the place! Be warned though, there are lineups often. But it's worth the wait!

While it is creeping upscale (they now have proper cloth table clothes and female wait staff), the food remains excellent both in variety and execution. Great variety of seafood. Definitely not for those who want Canadian Chinese fare (deep fried chicken balls etc) but if you want to try fresh scallops (in the shell and without any editing) when available..this is the place. Beware Sundays unless you enjoy long lineups into the steet

It lacks the gaudiness typical of the Chinese food restaurants in the area; it's a simple and quiet atmosphere. Serves over 99 items, including chicken, vegetables, pork, duck, and a plethora of seafood.
