	1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. I agree with Lawrence, this is americanized mexican food. And by the way, doesn't the Abbey review just scream "advertisement"? That thing has got to be written by someone on the inside! How patently transparent! I do not recommend this place.

	1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. My wife and I love authentic Mexican food. We stopped in today for dinner at Hernandos on Wellington. This is not an authentic Mexican restaurant. The only good thing was the bottled Corona. The nachos were obviously pre packaged, the tamales were made from bland mystery meat, and horrors; the enchiladas that my wife had were stone cold in the centre. What kind of chef could have taken pride in this?? This is the type of pre frozen cookie cutter food that I would expect to see in the burbs, next to a Mandarin, or a Kelsey's. This is not Mexican Food. We would have done better to buy some "Old El Paso" Products at Loblaws, and make it at home, or dare I say it make a stop at Taco Bell...at least with those two options, you already know what you are getting. What a disappointing waste of 53 bucks! They did offer to heat it up, but we were too disgusted at that point, to accept any thing more from them. Cheers, L I do not recommend this place.

	1 out of 2 people found this review helpful. This restaurant was kind of ugly in decor, but hey, most authentic mexican restaurants are. The menu is HUGEEE, so you have lots of choices whether you want mexican, or you want something a little more general (steaks, chicken etc). To start we had the appetiser version of the carne nachos, which was taco beef, pico de gallo, monterey jack cheese, and red sauce, served with sour cream and guacamole (9.59) for the size of a regular dinner plate. PS:their guac is VERY good!! As my main I had the appetiser steak quesedillas for 9.40$ with side of fries (2.99). The quesidilla was realllly good, you can also get it in a meal with salad, beans and rice (but i would have rather had fries). My sister had a chicken fajita, which was served in a sizzling skillet wth all the dressings for your quesidillas. This was pretty good service (as it wasnt busy) and pretty good food for the prices. I recommend this place.
