My brother recently brought me to Veni Vidi Vici for my birthday dinner.
It was a Saturday night (after 8pm), and the place was packed, but the staff was amazing and very accomodating, especially because my brother had mentioned that he was in a rush and needed to be somewhere else by 10pm.
They were very straightforward about waiting times for a table/for meal preparation, and so very friendly. The food was delicious (The risotto was rich but not heavy or too creamy/mushy...something hard to accomplish indeed) and a birthday dessert was an unexpected and decadent treat.
Superb service, ambience, and cuisine all for a reasonable price.
I will be returning there in the near future, and I'll be telling my friends about this College St. gem...
