	5 out of 7 people found this review helpful. A great restaurant but the paparazzi can ruin the experience. Sassafraz is a place to be seen more than anything else. The place is abuzz with hip socialites taking in the high class dining or just a martini. Dress code is anything cool and not last season. The parking spots in front are regularly adorned with a Ferrari or at least a 3 series BMW and beautiful hostesses will seat you promptly. The food is excellent and not as high priced as you might think. Here is a good anecdote. The last time I was there, a wannabe D-list actress/model/musician who nobody recognized was flanked by 2 large body guards as she entered the restaurant. The entourage was a little unnecessary but made a good dinner conversation. It's not uncommon to see a real live A-list or possibly B-list star though.
