Tried to order 30 pieces of sashimi but wasn't allowed! What a ridiculous restaurant!I am posting this because i)it ruined my cousin's birthday ii)I take my dinner time seriously and it is interrupted by very rude waitress/manager and iii)I have never been anywhere else that treats their customers so rude!

Some friends recommended this place so we went to try it out for a birthday celebration.Huge dissapointment! There were a few prices for AYCE so we chose the most expensive one at $20.99 ($22.99 because we were there on a weekend) because we wanted sashimi. The manager was shockingly rude! One of the first sentences she said to welcome us was "You are given 1 1/2 hours to order & eat & then you have to leave because it is packed today". We understood there is usually a time limit to AYCE but saying it in such a rude way before you even sit down is just plain rude! Then, we tried to order 30 pieces of salmon sashimi for 8 and the manager said, "I think 30 pieces is too much. Why don't you try take 15 instead?" So we decided to be nice and was okay with the salmon and we proceed to order 20 pieces of red snapper on top of the salmon and she said, "Why don't you order other types of sashimi and less of this because you have to take other customers and tables into consideration". At this point, we were like "What?!". First, we have to be told in a rude way that we have to finish 1 1/2 hours on the dot. Second, she cuts down the portion on whatever we want to order and third, we have to take other customers/tables into consideration on what we want to eat?Geez how ridiculous!Needless to say, at this point we decided that we had enough and walked out of the restaurant. I have never been to a restaurant that is so rude and arrogant in my life. When we told her we had enough and we were leaving she said "FINE!" like it doesn't really matter anyways. Think twice before you go to this place! Even if the food is good, with such service you don't really have any appetite left to eat at the end!

I do not recommend this place.

They have 3 different types of all you can eat at different prices, the cheapest having a limited menu and $12.99, and the most expensive have the entire menu for $20.99. It is an extra $2 per person on Friday thru Sunday. I will definitely be back.
I recommend this place.

I was there in mid-January ('07) and they have three types of buffet starting at $12.99 (selected menu) up to $20.99 (the ENTIRE menu, sushi, sashimi, bento plates, dessert, EVERYTHING!). I chose the biggest one and it was delicious especially the sashimi that melted in your mouth and thesushi pizza with unagi (they also have it with salmon) mmmmmmmm soooo good. You definitely get your money's worth here. The wait staff is very friendly but when its busy you have to be more patient. Get there early since it gets packed fast. The only negative is that they don't have a paper checkoff system so you have to remember what you ordered and what you want to order. I didnt mind this so much since the food was fantastic!
I recommend this place.

Hostesses are abundant and ready to serve and the sushi is melt in your mouth delicious. Compare quality and price and this place has got to be listed as one of Toronto's best kept secrets. Ambiance is fabulous, washrooms are kept top notch and delivery service never misses a beat. No matter what day of the week you go the place is always packed. Speaks volumes about the food and service.
I recommend this place.
