They rush you to finish your meal by putting the check down and send you out of the door as quick as possible. Terrible! terrible! service. Will not return.
I do not recommend this place.

One cannot dispute that the food is good but the unfriendliness leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Good food is important but courtesy is more important than the price. So bottom line is if you've gone out partying late at night and want something to eat afterwards and you are too drunk to care how you are treated, Swatow is a place to go. If you want to take your time to enjoy your meal and expect courtesy, look elsewhere. Apparently courtesy is optional for the staff and the establishment.

We had similar experience about a year ago. We thought we would try again and give it another chance. We won't be back there again. There are too many other good places to go than have to put up with rude service and arrogance in exchange for a couple of dollars in savings. That was by far the worst treatment we've experienced in a restaurant anywhere; and we were long time regulars.

I do not recommend this place.

Huge menu for all budgets - noodle soups and rice combos can be had for $4-5, with more sharing-friendly dishes anywhere from $6-15. Pretty good seafood, but if BBQ's your game, I'd go across the street to King's Noodle. Swatow's pretty busy at dinner (most restaurants in this area are), but I've never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes.
I recommend this place.
