If you want quality sushi with cheaper prices, I do not recommend Tokyo Sushi. I got take-out from this place recently (Sakura Sushi) and the fish on the sushi pieces were veiny and chewy. The only reason I had stepped into this place was because it was the only sushi restaurant open at 11:20am on a weekday. If I had known about the quality of the food, I would have waited another half hour for the other sushi restaurant on Bloor St. to open.

While the prices here are on the steeper side, Tokyo Sushi does an excellent job of delivering good fresh sushi. The layout of the restaurant is also conducive to quiet chatter, and doesn't feel as cramped or rushed as some of the other sushi bars on the Bloor Street West strip.
