I have been to Wanda's many many times, mainly because it is a stone's throw away from where I live. Before I found out I am gluten intolerant, I really enjoyed their peach praline and sour cherry pies. However, I was less then impressed with their Ambrosia and rhubarb (which is usually my favourite) and I didn't care much for their sandwiches (the bread was way too thick). Now, I eat their soups which are always delicious and they make a killer flourless macaroon. The worst part of my trips there is usually the rude staff- with one exception- most of those working there seem to be wondering how we dare ask them to get us something! Please Wanda, read this review and hire some new employees. I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |

this place has delicious combinations of pizza and pie. their pizza is very stellar, some of the best i've had in this city. each is unique and delcious. same goes for their pies. its a very tiny place but the atmosphere is very cozy and the service is most excellent. great little place to check out if you are ever in the yorkville region.

So far I've had only the pizza and pie at Wanda's. Repeat trips will ensure that I cover everything on the menu. The decor is simple and attractive. There are several clippings of awards won - with good reason. All elements combined for a great visit. Daniel, who was working there during our visit, was very patient and helpful. The pizza tasted great - warmed up just right in the oven. The highlight was dessert. We tried the Ambrosia pie (Apple, Berry and Peach) - delectable. Not too sweet and you can really taste the fruit. The next pie we had was the Peach and Praline - recommended by Daniel. Sweet and luscious. It's a treat to taste warm, sweet peach, pralines and caramelized brown sugar in one bite! A must visit. I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |

Definitely one of my favorite cafes in the city (and it helps that its roughly 15 seconds away from my place). This place is small, but instead of feeling cramped there is a cozyness to it. The people there are very helpful, always ready to please. Definitely a type of cafe you would only find in Yorkville. But mm ... the food is spectacular. The ecletic pizza and sandwhiches are absolutely yummy. I have tasted the weirdest combinations here, and have never been disappointed. And while their food is spectacular, their pies are absolutely fabulous. From peach to apple to strawberry to rhubarb, the pies come in three sizes with one similarity - every single one is dangerously delicious. Definitely a place to visit. I recommend this place.
