Very Discriminating in terms of how certain customers are treated. Unfortunately the food I ordered was very unclean and very unsanitary. The condition it was in was horrendous. I used to own a little cafe in Montreal and from my own bad experience at Zoe's and the disrespect they have for their loyal customers I cannot fathom how they can run and stay in business. My lunch was thrown in a cardboard pastry box. I ordered Penne pasta with shrimp and the sauce from the pasta was soaking the box. Did they expect me to fork out the penne from the box???? and eat it like I would an animal. I am happy to have received my money back and will never never ever go back there again. My word of mouth about this experience has already gotten around to all my friends and coworkers who do work near the bakery. Sorry to have to disappoint all of you Zoe fans. I have no prob. with the food there as I have been there many times but when they insult you by throwing the food at you in a box... that is reason enough to never give them business again. Andrea and the whole staff at Zoe's is fabulous! I run a corporate office (Condo Developers) for Context Development Inc. and many times urgent meetings have been called and/or cancelled at the last minute, yet regardless of how little time I'm able to give to Andrea and her staff I have never ever been let down. They take the time to create my order which is always delivered on time. The food is fresh and the presentation is outstanding. I must extend a personal thank you especially to Andrea, for without her help and patience and assistance in catering to our specific needs over here at Context, we'd be lost. There is absolutely nothing that could be said negatively about your cafe, other Cafe's in Toronto could certainly learn from you over at Zoe's. YOU ROCK! Myla Warner, 416-863-0202 x 242
