ok food that tastes pretty bland. the washrooms are pretty hard to get into as well, as you have to push the door in pretty hard. they are also very tiny, 1 person only. the prices of the food are a little more expensive then normal, about $10 for a single dinner entree. the service is friendly and fairly quick.

The key to Zyng is getting the stirfry bar meals. The rest of the menu is average at best, and somewhat overpriced. But building your own stirfry, with your choice of noodles and sauce--plus a bowl of vegetables you fill yourself from the buffet--is a worthwhile experience ending in a very satisfying meal. I also reccomend "Z"angria. It's the classic Mediterranean drink with touches of Mandarin and Lychee. Be weary of the pitchers, though--they are actually more expensive than an equal volume of individual glasses. The waiter, after admitting this to me, was not entirely sure what to say. Nothing exceptional here. Soups are bland and noodles are ok at best. The dim sum and dumplings menu is not worth your money, stay away from that. Friendly service, but the food doesn't excel. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |

So many asian restaurants try to fill your bowls with the cheap vegetables like onions, sprouts and carrots (and perhaps a miniscule sliver of broc). At Zyng you can chose the top quality, nutrient filled vegetables you want by selecting them at their veggie bar. The udon/chicken/black bean sauce combo with heaps of shitake and broccoli is so worth the measly two dollars more they might charge. I love sitting at the cheery green bar and watch the human traffic. The only thing I would change about this place is to bring back their excellent sesame seasoning spice and bring in some new music.
