Re: 02/08/2007 Funny how some people feel the need to write a review and omit facts that they would happily use to justify the actions of another. Fact is that the cash register there is temperamental and in the process of being replaced. I have always found the service at this shop to be exemplary to say the least and custom and back orders to be expedited. The owners are welcoming and work hard to please the customers. I have been frequenting the shop over the past 12 or so years, to say the least I’m not just a fly in and criticize individual. I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? The top review is a lie. I don't know what store this guy went to but the owners were friendly and helpful. They charge US cover price on all comics and trades as well as giving free bag and board. This is my new shop.

funny! Dont you just love the shills? This place is OKAY but God help you if you try to get a receipt of your purchase (worse than the 3rd Quadrant Comic shop which will at least write you out a receipt because their register is perpetually 'broken'). The fat guys who work there are brothers and can be usually found gawking at the anime section video at the back. The comic back selection is good and they cover the new comics fine (even independants) but these guys overprice their backstock almost as much as Paradise Comics does! Don't do it! If you really need that copy of uncanny xmen #200 wait for a convention or go to a lower priced comic store in town. I won't recommend one here because that would be unfair practice. However I CAN tell you there are better comic stores out there in Toronto shop around you'll find them.

Get your geek on and visit this shop! This long-standing Yonge Street store specializes in Anime DVDs, though it also sells many popular comic book titles, graphic novels, and a bevy of back issues. The action figure and toy selection is not very extensive, but what they do have is usually available at a reasonable price.
