After explaining to the person in the store that my last experience with a flower shop was not great (sending flowers to my girlfriend) I wanted to make sure that they did this right for me and asked what I should pay for a nice arrangement. I was sending them to her work and didn't want to be embarrased again. I paid $200 plus tax, for something that my girlfriend was not happy with at all! She said the flowers I had sent before were better (that she didn't think were great and almost half the price). I asked for a colourful arrangement, what she got was 90% green. When I went to complain, she was sent a replacement (again looking stupid to those you work with) which was worse!!! I paid far to much, for an arrangement that wasn't worth $50, and died very quickly. I would not suggest this flower shop. I sent flowers again last week and used an online shop, paid half the price and the flowers are still awesome (as she reports :)).

I had an amazing experience with Black-Eyed Susan's that I just had to share. On my way back from a conference in Texas I phoned ahead to have an arrangement delivered the next day to my wife for her birthday. The fun ladies at the store found exactly what I was looking for and she was stunned by the look and smell of the flowers. Thanks for helping make her day Black-Eyed Susan's. I never write review but I was so outraged at the service that my frined received at this store that i had to write something. She ordered flowers on Valetines Day, which was a negative experience to begin with as they would not accomodate any of her specal requests. After paying over $150 for a beautiful arrangement that was supposed to be delivered ON valentines day, she was advised that by 5pm the flowers had not arrived. After calling the store, she got YELLED AT by the owner to be pacient and advised that there is nothing she could do about here driver being late. The owner proceeded to be confrontational when my friend asked if she could come down and talk abou the situation saying that she had no time to talk to my friend, who is a paying customer. When the arrnagement finally got delivered and was an hour late, for which the client had to stay late at work to receive, the order was not right as my friend paid extra money for additional flowers. This is absolutelly horrendous service, especially in a store downtown Toronto, where there are a million other options.
