Retail Show of Quality beads of many kinds plus supplies and kits

A Retail Canadian Bead Show featuring beads of many kinds, beading supplies and tools, jewelry, jewelry kits and components, lampwork art glass beads and lampworking supplies, in a conference room setting.
And classes too!

SHOW VENUE, LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is downtown Toronto's most accessible convention facility, close to transit, freeways, restaurants, hotels, the financial district, shows, clubs and more. Our show is in the North Building on Front St. West at street level. This is just 1 block west of Union Station (for subway, GO Train, GO bus and VIA Rail access) and 2 blocks north of the Gardiner Expressway, and just next door to the Skydome and Intercontinental Hotel. There is parking in the North Building of the convention centre (accessible from the base of Simcoe St.) and in numerous other parking facilities nearby.
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre has an excellent website at www.mtccc.com which gives very detailed directions for transit routes, driving and parking and other nearby facilities.

There is a parking lot inside the North Building, accessible from Simcoe St. south of Front St. During our Fall event this lot has usually lots of space at most times during the show unless there is a game on at one of the sporting venues. During the Almost Spring show, there are other events at MTCC that can fill that lot at peak times of the afternoon. At those times, please note some of the alternative parking in the area listed below.
If there are other events on in the building or in the many sporting venues around the area, you may want to check out other large lots in the area at similar prices: there is an outdoor parking lot on the north side of Front St. on the east side of the CBC Building, just behind the WSIB building - that lot is accessible from Wellington St west of Simcoe St.; there is also a large indoor lot on Wellington St west of Simcoe St under the former Metro Hall complex and Roy Thomson Hall, also accessible from Wellington St (Simcoe and Wellington are both one way streets so to get there from MTCC you need to go north up University Ave. or York St. from Front St. W and turn left on Wellington, go past Simcoe St. and the indoor lot is on your right, the outdoor lot on your left).
There is also a big parking garage at Harborfront, on the south side of Lakeshore at York St. that is a bit of a long walk uphill but usually cheaper than the other parking garages. Do beware of parking lots trying to charge big prices when events are running - you can usually find a reasonably-priced spot at Harborfront or a few blocks away from the venue. You can also park at Toronto City Hall on Queen St east of University Ave and take the subway to Union Station or walk downhill to the MTCC (that's about a 15 minute walk). Also consider if the local lots are busy, leaving your car at another parking lot on the subway line and taking the TTC to Union Station which is 1 block away from MTCC.
