Cheap house pints ($3.75), a couple of pool tables. Open mic night on Wednesdays. Usually gets a university crowd in. Not a bad place for a quiet beer and game of pool.

The place is a bit of a dive, mostly full of student regulars. The beer on tap is a lousy selection, and the service is crappy. that being said - the wings are highly rated and the place isn't expensive. Its a staple for students at the south end of UofT campus.

With "Where Great Minds Drink Alike" as its slogan, its hard to imagine the many U of T students who frequent this spot actually get any of their school work done. But with happy diversions like foozball, pool and NTN, it is equipped with free wi-fi access for those who want to sip a beer while writing their Masters thesis. Though the crowd is not limited to students, Ein-Stein is a great spot to get food and drink at a reasonable price. Known for its huge wings and odd - yet delicious - deep fried pickles, it is also a strong supporter of local micro-breweries. An added bonus for smokers: it is equipped with a seperately ventilated DSR, much to the relief of those tired of shivering during the winter months.
