1 out of 4 people found this review helpful. The people at Roomy are pretty nice and helpful. Roomy, like many other companies offer to cut prices lower than their competitors. It's not sleazy for the business world otherwise people would not take advantage of such offers. A customer, on the other hand, who suggests he/she is of the high moral ground - and to whom offering to beat the competitor's prices is sleazy process - yet who decides to go ahead with it is in fact the dubious one.

I think in type when one puts symbols for words such as ?%#$?/ - it indicates potty mouth and an inability to express oneself civilly.

Roomy has been offering good service to many customers over the years.

8 out of 9 people found this review helpful. I purchased some furniture from this store last year, because the owner of the store said she can give me 10% less than one of her competitors. This practice seemed really sleazy but it saved me some money. However, I was told I would have the furniture at the end of January, now the date has been moved to the end of March. When I enquired from another store about the same items, they said it normally takes 4-6 weeks, and that Roomy was not a registered dealer, and buys the product through another store. This is really tacky for a store in one of Toronto’s design districts. I think the next time I buy furniture, I will be more careful about deals which seem too good to be true, and stores who try to undermine others.
I do not recommend this place.
