An excellent place to find fresh produce, seafood and meats....also a great way to spend a lazy Sunday at the Antique Market across the street.

Great place to buy fresh fish, poultry, meats, vegetables. There are also a ton of places that serve food, great for lunch on the go. It can get rather busy with long lineups, especially at peak hours.

Great place to get fresh meat, veggies and fruits for great prices. I go when I can at least for the meats, few places have 10 meat skewers for $10, different meat types and flavours. It's always busy on Saturdays, so you need patience and be comfortable in huge crowds.

This downtown market is a must-see for all visitors and foodies. All the city's best chefs come here for the freshest and cheapest ingredients. You can get exotic and rare things like emu eggs at the weekend farmer's market, and unique meats like kangaroo, musk ox, and caribou at Whitehouse Meats. There are two levels to this place, mostly accessible from the outside by wheelchair, with lots of places you can get good eats (sandwiches, hot dogs, crepes and the like) and a shoppers' area where they sell hats, toys, scarves, and cool belly-dancing outfits.

The St. Lawrence Market is a great place to buy vegetables, fruit, meats, cheese and baking goods. It’s a great experience. Everyone is friendly and has a smile. You can also grab a bite to eat in one of the many cafeteria style restaurants and cafes. I recommend it to anyone who visits Toronto.
