Wow, I am on my way to the store from Pickering and I call to check to see if the books i need is in stock. I am still in shock as I turn around and head of to Chapters instead. The guy that answered the phone was sarcastic and rude.I mean at one point when I asked for clarification of the suggestions he made he was anoyed that he had to repeat himself and actually made reference to that. Wow i guess I won't be going there again. To bad I heard some great things about this place. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |

A very large selection of every kind of book and magazine available. Also has a section for music at their upper level. Just last night I went there and spent a good 3 hours browsing through their Fiction books, Food books, and Magazines. For anyone thinking of going there in the near future, never ever miss their discount racks! I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |

It's been a long time since I was last there. I used to love it! I'd skip school and take the bus from the east end of Scarborough all the way downtown, just to spend the afternoon at the World's Biggest Bookstore. Then a lunch at the Pickle Barrel before catching the bus home again. I'm moving back to Toronto next month, or sooner. I'm already planning to see the World's Biggest Bookstore again. Glad to see it's still there.

It really is the world's biggest bookstore, or so I imagine. This store has an awesome selection of just about everything, since they can afford to stock their shelves with more than just the bestsellers. Their science fiction and fantasy section is particularly good. The shop also has a CD and DVD section which has some hard to find items, though you'll probably pay a bit more here than at HMV or Sam the Record Man.

The World's Biggest Bookstore (a claim that apparently is true when certain factors are considered, so it's not just hyperbole) is awesome. It has the biggest selection of books in all of Toronto, and from what I've seen the largest selection of magazines as well. The employees are friendly and helpful, and even though it seems they're somewhat limited in numbers, this store is so easy to navigate help is almost never needed. There's also a cool clearance section upstairs that's worth checking out for dirt-cheap giftware you'd pay through the nose for at Chapters and its ilk. Another of this store's claims to fame is that it was prominently featured in an episode of TLC's "What Not To Wear."

The worlds Biggest book store is awsome. I once was looking for jewellery books in the typical mid size book stores, and found one to three unrelated items. Then decited to and take a look at the worlds biggest book store. WOW, let me tell you , found about 30 books on the subject that I loved! Hardest part was choosing from such a wide selection. 5*****
