Copperpipe - January 5, 2007
1 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Real thincrust pizza and microbrews! Hidden on Kingston Road in the upper beaches, the Copperpipe has a great Italian based menu with 16+ gourmet slabs of heaven waiting to be devoured. I love the 'Hey Pesto' pizza with sundried tomatoes, basil pesto, zucchini, and an extra topping of roasted chicken! ...and of course many pints of beer.
I recommend this place.

Mullins Irish Pub - January 5, 2007
2 out of 3 people found this review helpful. I should frequent Mullins more often, because the atmosphere and friendly staff make it an enjoyable place to waste away the hours of useless time. Mullins could easily become my local if I lived within crawling range.
I recommend this place.

El Sol Mexican Art Cafe - January 5, 2007
2 out of 3 people found this review helpful. The guacamole at El Sol is the best. This is my favourite Mexican eatery I've been to so far during my feeding frenzies. The service could improve, but the food outweighs the wait. As you watch other customers sizzling and fiery meals pass in front of your eyes, the anticipation of your own plate of Mexican delight makes your food taste even more exceptional.
I recommend this place.

Poonan Delite Indian Restaurant - January 5, 2007
1 out of 3 people found this review helpful. It's not in the most desirable neighbourhood, it doesn't have much atmosphere, but it's the best Indian food I've had - and I've had a lot. I travelled around the world to 24 different countries (including India), and a feast of an authentic Indian grub in each city was a requirement. Poonan was better than any meal I had on my journeys.
I recommend this place.

The Pastry Shop - January 5, 2007
2 out of 3 people found this review helpful. I love the Pastry Shop. Every morning I have a bowl of Chickpea Curry and a coffee. I know it sounds weird to have a hot curry first thing in the morning, but it gives my that kick I need to get me to work on time.
I recommend this place.
